The Central Aid Agency Cadet Corps is a structured youth program with an emphasis on leadership and faith for youths aged 14-21, and to act as an early entry method for youth into C.A.A. service.

The Program

Requirements

Being a Cadet allows young members similar abilities as regular Rated personnel, but in a more controlled environment and under direct supervision.

Cadet units are supervised by adult personnel that are 21 years of age or older who are Commissioned Officers or NCO’s that are part of the command structure for the Cadet unit to provide guidance and supervision.  All adult personnel that act as supervision for Cadet units are highly vetted.  Adult personnel assigned directly to a Cadet unit are called Advisors and wear the same uniform as the Cadets.

When Cadets age out of the program, they are given the opportunity to join the C.A.A. as a regular Rated member.  The rank they attain as a Cadet directly relates to a higher starting rank as a regular Rated member.
Cadets are required to meet the same basic standards as any other Rated member of the C.A.A.  They are also required to follow the Code of Conduct, in addition to the specific hygiene requirements of their unit.

Cadets must be between the ages of 14 and 21 to be able to participate in this unit as Cadets.  Once Cadets reach the age of 18 they are eligible to join the C.A.A. as regular Active Duty, Reserve, or Auxiliary Rated members, but may remain as a Cadet until they are 21 if they wish.  Once a Cadet transfers over to another duty status they cannot go back to being a Cadet, even if they are within the age requirements.  Cadets are encouraged to remain in the Cadet Corps unit until they age out, as they will receive much more opportunity for advancement and promotion.

Cadets who show a willingness to excel may be offered leadership and special positions while in the unit, these roles and abilities will later be considered if they go on to join the C.A.A. as regular Rated member.

United Security Operations Team 2

USO Team 2 is a United Security Operations Cadet Unit assigned to USO Squad 1 in Sector 2.  Cadets assigned to this unit get first hand experience and training related to providing security services under the guidance of fully certified Security Agents.

Uniforms of the Cadet Corps

Cadet Corps units primarily wear uniforms that are the same or similar to the C.A.A. organization that hosts them.  However in instances where Cadet Corps units are standalone, they wear uniforms in French and Navy Blue (Variant of Color Type 1).  Uniforms commonly worn by the Cadet Corps include:

Service Dress Uniform Class A

Service Dress Uniform Class B

Basic Duty Uniform Class C

Administrative Uniform with French Blue Polo and Navy Blue Pants Class C

Field Basic Service Uniform Class E (When participating in Community Service activities)

Physical Training Uniforms Class E

Because Cadet Corps units are generally considered deployable, they typically require Type 4 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements when in full uniform.
Type 3 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements is typically required for personnel that are administrative only.
