Chaplain Corps

The Central Aid Agency Chaplain Corps is a Branch of Central Command whose mission is to provide faith support, spiritual guidance, and counseling to those that seek it.   Chaplains act as facilitators and guides for faith activities, and can conduct services and ceremonies as requested.  They also oversee chaplain roles and help facilitate faith activities within the agency, as well as oversee NDCI Fellowships.  Finally, they help further the cause and message of NDCI, however possible.  Chaplains can be deployed to critical incidents and requested by partner agencies.  They can also be trained as Field Chaplains and embedded in non-Chaplain units to deploy alongside other C.A.A. emergency responders into unstable field environments.

There are currently no active Chaplain Corps units.

Uniforms of the Chaplain Corps

Chaplains primarily wear uniforms in Navy Blue (Color Type 1).  Embedded Field Chaplains typically wear the same uniform as the rest of the unit they are assigned to.  Uniforms commonly worn by the Chaplain Corps include:

Dress Service Uniform Class A

Dress Service Uniform Class B

Responder Garrison Uniform Class C

Responder Utility Uniform / Basic Duty Uniform Class C (When in field environments)

Administrative Uniform with Navy Blue Polo and Tan Pants Class C (Primary Uniform)

Field Basic Service Uniform Class D (When participating in Community Service activities)

Physical Training Uniforms Class E

Chaplain roles typically require Type 3 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements when in full uniform.
Because Field Chaplains are deployable into field environments, Field Chaplain roles typically require Type 4 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements when in full uniform.
