Incident Management and Operational Support (IMOS) is a Program under Central Command whose mission is to provide all-hazards multi discipline incident management teams, Incident Command System (ICS) / Emergency Operations Center (EOC) / admin support, operations / logistics support, command / coordination, and communications support in times of emergency or disaster.  IMOS also helps support Community Organizations Active in Disaster (COAD) / Voluntary Organization Active in Disaster (VOAD) coalitions and coordinates between agencies in support of operations, incident command systems and emergency management.  Additionally, IMOS provides emergency services coordination and dispatch services, and deploys to provide direct support to field operations as needed.

​Central Command Team 1 is responsible ​for command and administration of Sector 2, and the management of the personnel and units assigned to Emergency Response Force 1.  The unit is cross-trained and in addition to providing administrative support, the unit serves an Incident Management and Operational Support (IMOS) function and assists with general emergency response. 

Uniforms of IMOS

IMOS primarily wears uniforms in Navy Blue (Color Type 1), but also wears Coyote (Color Type 2) for hot weather.  Uniforms commonly worn by IMOS include:

Service Dress Uniform Class A

Service Dress Uniform Class B

Responder Garrison Uniform Class C

Responder Utility Uniform / Basic Duty Uniform Class C

Administrative Uniform with Red or Navy Blue Polo and Tan Pants Class C

Field Basic Service Uniform Class D (When participating in Community Service activities)

Physical Training Uniforms Class E

Because IMOS units are usually deployable, they typically require Type 4 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements when in full uniform.
Type 3 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements is typically required for personnel that are administrative only.
