The Primary Operating Philosophy of the Central Aid Agency is to be a well-trained deployable resource for governmental and nongovernmental organizations alike, able to respond, assist, and support; especially when additional capacity is needed. Provide capability in difficult or hard to reach areas. Fill needs that may otherwise be left unmet. And contribute to, rather than supplant, existing resources and capabilities.
In our more than 15 years of service, our agency has participated in a wide variety of operations. Ranging from disaster relief, to emergency response, event support, security services, and everything in between.
Excellence is one of of our core values. We put significant emphasis on doing things right and competently. As a result, we hold our personnel to the highest standards of conduct, appearance, and training.
We strive to be experts and leaders in the fields that we participate in. We are always striving for improvement, and frequently work with partners to develop new and better ways of doing things.
The Central Aid Agency was founded with the vision to create a well-organized Christ-centered uniformed service organization that functions with a military style structure; with the goal of spreading the word and love of Christ through positive actions, operating on the basis of faith and reason, and serving the interests of God and the common good all over the world. This mission is accomplished from the foundational principles of truth, honor, compassion, and service, while guided by faith, reason, wisdom, critical thinking, and principle; with the recognition that each person has unique talents and skills that can be contributed to accomplish a greater purpose. The agency was created to be an organization of positive action and service, an “applied ministry”, an agency of “doing”. Because of this, all Central Aid Agency personnel are collectively referred to as Aiders.
The Central Aid Agency gives back to the community in a variety of ways, from disaster response and preparedness, to community outreach and service projects. None of which we can do without the support of our volunteers and donations. When you give to the Central Aid Agency, whether it be of your time or money, it has real impact on the communities that we serve. We take our service seriously, and work hard to be good stewards of our resources.
The Central Aid Agency is actively engaged in emergency management and disaster response. We have deployed to, or supported, response efforts related to ice storms, snow storms, a solar eclipse, and even a tornado. We train and work hard so that we can be at our best when life is at its worst. Emergency and disaster response efforts are expensive, and our response efforts are directly supported by our volunteers and funded through our contract services, donations and fundraisers.
