Communications and Data (Comms and Data) is a Primary Command whose mission is to provide information technology services for the Central Aid Agency. Including signals and communication services, database management, system development, and infrastructure development / management. Additionally, to provide and regulate communications operators and technicians.
Active Programs of Comms and Data
A partnership between Comms and Data and Central Command to provide amateur radio emergency communications services in coordination with the CERT program, RRT, and IMOS, and to serve as an auxiliary to IMOS units. Additionally, to coordinate amateur radio resources among non-IMOS units capable of being used in emergencies.

Comms and Data Team 1
CD-Team 1 is a Comms and Data communications team attached to IMOS and based in Sector 2. The unit is functionally part of RRT in Sector 2 when RRT is activated; otherwise CD-Team 1 falls under Central Command in Sector 2. The unit can be deployed into the field when needed, but is intended to be used to provide communications capability at Incident Command Posts (ICP) and Emergency Operations Centers (EOC).
Uniforms of Comms and Data
Comms and Data primarily wears uniforms in Navy Blue (Color Type 1), but also wears Khaki (Color Type 2) for hot weather, and OD (Color Type 3) for specialized field environments. Uniforms commonly worn by Comms and Data include:
Service Dress Uniform Class A
Service Dress Uniform Class B
Basic Duty Uniform Class C
Administrative Uniform with Navy Blue Polo and Tan Pants Class C
Field Basic Service Uniform Class D (When participating in Community Service activities)
Physical Training Uniforms Class E Because Comms and Data units are usually deployable, they typically require Type 2 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements when in full uniform. Type 2.5 or greater hygiene and appearance requirements is typically required for personnel that are administrative only.
